CEZANNE, Paul. 1839-1906. Born at Aix-en-Provence, France, the son of a wealthy manufacturer. He read law, but at the age of twenty-two he gave it up for painting. For some thirty years his paintings were almost entirely ignored and it was due chiefly to the Parisian dealer, Ambroise Vollard, that in 1892 people began to take notice of his work. He is now regarded as one of the masters of 19th century painting, and has exercised great influence on modern artists. He combined many of the techniques of Impressionism with an appreciation of the structural forms found in nature.
Our standard prints are reproduced on a premium semi matt finish paper. Its micro-porous resin coating provides exceptional colour accuracy and stability

The surface has a special matte coating, designed for high quality fine art reproduction with giclée technology. It is an archival quality paper with great colour accuracy.
