Valdemar Vincent Kornerup (1865-1924) was born in Copenhagen. Kornerup studied art with his father at an early age, and from 1881 to 1885 attended The Royal Academy of Art in Copenhagen, and in 1885 at the P. S. Krøyer Art School. His work was exhibited in Charlottenborg and Copenhagen between 1887 and 1922.
