Hopking, Noel. 1884-1964. Born in Sussex, he started a career illustrating bird subjects for a scholastic magazine. As his style developed he turned to the watercolous of birds and woodland animals for which he is well known. He exhibited at the R.I and R.A ans was a member of the Association of Sussex Artists.
